Lights, Camera and Action!

Being a smaller company with a large imagination has its benefits. It creates a win-win situation for me and my clients.

I would like to take a moment to explain the DMB advantages and why I should be considered for your project, no matter how big or small:

Over a decade of experience. I am experienced in all fields of production and, on most projects, I do 100% of the work myself. Doing the projects alone not only results in a lower overhead but also a better communication with you, the client, making the process, from concept to delivery, one that often exceeds my clients’ expectations.

Customer focus: Because I do keep a smaller overhead and only expend with contract workers as needed, I am able to select the videos best suited for my skill set and the ones I feel passionate about. This allows me to keep my focus on your project. I am not afraid to turn down a job if I feel I am not the right person for it. I do not operate a factory line that needs to pump out videos to stay afloat; My business is simply a passion that I live for. Even at play or at sleep, my mind continues working. The creative process is 24/7 and combined with my skill sets, this gives me a clear advantage over my competitors.

Superior web optimization skills: You found this Web Page because I designed it that way. I understand marketing and the Internet, in fact you can Google Edmonton Marketing Videos, Edmonton Video Productions, Edmonton Videographer or even Professional Videographer with no city mentioned and I will be on the first page. I know how search engines work and what people need to see when they arrive. I have this site built to attract the clients I am best suited for.

Last but not least, I have a fun & creative energy that is contagious and I feel it shows in my work and in my character. My name and integrity are important to me which is why I call my business David Mathew Bonner. I am here not only to help you develop a video that fulfills your needs, but also to help your business be seen. My understanding of search engines, social networking and marketing is an asset that goes beyond the lens and will help you reach your goals faster and with a greater success.

I look forward to your business,
David Mathew Bonner

David,

Fernando and I would both like to thank you for the outstanding job you did for us. We are so happy with our video. Friends and family who were unable to attend the wedding were able to share in our day, and even those who were there enjoyed watching your creation.

To anyone who is considering hiring David to create a wedding video, do it.
David’s work is truly a priceless reminder of our once in a lifetime day. Photographs are wonderful to have as well, but the video captures moments and emotions which would otherwise have been lost.

We weren’t sold on the idea of a video since we were already paying for a photographer but when we went to see David’s work, we were blown away. We were impressed not only by the quality of his videos, but by the pride, care and energy he puts into his work that shines through in each and every clip. When he was showing us his work, we couldn’t leave – he kept wanting to show us “just one more thing.”
We are so happy with our decision to have David create our video. It is a treasure that will keep the memories of our wedding day alive forever.
Thanks again Dave

Heidi and Fernando Pisani of The Edmonton Oilers

——————————————————————————–

After all is said and done and the wedding is over, I cannot emphasize how much of a treasure it is to have our day captured so professionally for our loved ones and future children to see.The day went by so fast, but at least we have our video to watch and remember all of our guests. Even a year later, there are already loved ones who have passed on. We watch our wedding video and are thankful to have them captured so vibrant and alive.
I would recommend David Mathew Bonner Video Productions to anyone. Dave is a sociable videographer that brings a very personal touch to his productions. It was like having a friend there to record our day.

Shauna & Brian Kitt, Mundare, Alberta.

——————————————————————————–

When it comes to Dave and the work he has done, we have nothing but good things to say.
As an individual Dave is great. He took the time to get to know us as a couple and individually. He discovered our likes and dislikes, and used this to an advantage in our video. Working with Dave on our wedding day (and before) was not like working with a videographer. It felt more like a friend or family. We even had guests comment on Dave’s people skills. We were all impressed with his ability to put everyone at ease in front of the camera. At the same time He remained professional and was able to work side by side with our photographer.

Dave’s work speaks for itself. When watching our video it puts us in a state of awe, it is not your typical boring wedding video. We watch it over and over again, falling more in love with it every time. Dave caught the essence of our day with only the perfection he could accomplish. He started with a song and turned it into a vision. A vision that was based on us and that’s what makes it so amazing! Our video is more then we could have asked for and it is so perfectly us! Dave took the time to make sure we were happy with his work and that it reflected us. The special effects in the video were astounding and the transitions through out ran smoothly.

Dave you did a remarkable job and our video is worth every penny. If we had to do it all over again, you’d be there! Thank you a thousand times over for giving us the gift of our wedding day, everyday!

Terrence and Jody Rehman, Edmonton
——————————————————————————–
“I TOTALLLLLY LOVE IT!!!!! You succeeded in having a full tear well up in my right eye & roll all the way down my cheek ….
It’s BEEEAUUUUUUUUTIFUL!!!! You did SUCH an amazing job … I’m literally speechless.”

Beth McGregor, Edmonton

Dear David,
We just saw a copy of Bob and Beth (McGregor) Vergidis wedding video from last May and found it just wonderful. You captured the whole day and I am sure they love it. What great memories these two people will have for a lifetime. Thank you again,
Sincerely,
Jane and Richard McGregor – Charlotte, North Carolina

——————————————————————————–

Hi Dave

Its ivan again. I couldnt remember if we even gave you a review of the video, so in case we never here it is. Awesome, everything was how i thought it would be, and more. I can sure see now why all the time is taken up during the editing. Amanda loves it too. It was perfect. If anyone wants a referal give them our number if you want. Thanks again. See ya.
Ivan

——————————————————————————–

WOW, we didn’t know what to say. After the first time we watched it, we just held each other and relished the “moment”. The video capturing not only was fantastic, but it seemed to portray a emotional feeling from that day…every single thousand thought & feeling that goes through your mind on your wedding day…..it was truly amazing.

Crystal Wimpney

——————————————————————————–

Initially we weren’t really sure if we needed a videographer when budgeting out our wedding, but after having an initial consultation with you and seeing your work, we knew it was a must have and of course we weren’t disappointed. Each time we watch our video we are reminded of the emotions that were felt during that special day. We have heard from friends and family, many times how wonderful our video is and how they wished they had hired a videographer for their own wedding. We can’t say it enough; you were awesome and professional from our engagement video right to the last shot of the night. There was no hesitation in giving you full artistic control, you met and exceeded our expectations, you ROCK!!!

Angelina & Francesco Raimondi

——————————————————————————–

David,
Ryan and I watched our movie when we got home last night and we would like to thank you for creating not just a video of our wedding but something that we will watch and feel like we just got married again. Words cannot express how wonderful a job you did on our video…we will treasure it forever. You have an amazing talent and are truly gifted. We are so grateful to have you as our videographer and we hope that you had a great time at the wedding. If you ever need us as a reference we would be more than happy to do so. We really appreciate the effort you made to capture the smallest of details that over time may have been forgotten but are documented forever. You did an incredible job…I am still blown away at how wonderful it turned out. I think you managed to capture every emotion that we felt that day!

Thank you once again!
Michelle and Ryan Whittington

——————————————————————————–

When it came to selecting a videographer for our wedding, we both knew we did not want ordinary, we wanted extraordinary. We wanted a talented professional to capture the occasion in a creative style. After sampling many videographers work, Dave stood out from all the rest. His selection of music captured the mood and brought back to life the precious memories from our wedding. His creative choreographing and artistic editing captured our happy occasion in a lively seamless style. Dave is more than a videographer, he truly is an artist!

——————————————————————————–

Dear Dave

We just wanted to pass along our sincerest thanks for our wedding video production. When considering a videographer, you came highly recommended and the finished product is proof of your talent, creativity, and professionalism. We are so glad we chose you!

What “they” say is true – the wedding day goes by so quickly and it is hard to remember what we ate much less all of the events of the day. Watching our completed video brought back so many memories, allowed us a glimpse of things we otherwise might not have seen, and captured our special day beyond our expectations.

Your music selection was perfect! You took the suggestions we gave you and incorporated them, but also chose music that captured the spirit of each particular moment. The prelude to the video, in which you provided a summary of the day through a montage of video clips set to music, was especially beautiful and we have shown it to anyone willing to watch!

Thank you for providing us with a video that we will always treasure. You produced our wedding video with such care and sensitivity, making it into something personal and special to us. We would be more than happy to provide a referral on your behalf to any future couple considering a wedding video.

Sincerely,
Casey and Treena O’Shea

——————————————————————————–

It was such a pleasure working with Dave. He is a true professional, and his work has a striking creative approach that captures the true nature and spirit of an event. We now have a beautiful video of our special day, which we will treasure for years to come. Thanks Dave, for the wonderful memories that you captured for us. When anybody asks us to recommend a “fantastic” artist of film making, we’ll definitely put them in touch with you

Mr. and Mrs. B. Chowdhury, Edmonton, Alberta.

——————————————————————————–

David Matthew Bonner,

I’ve been keeping your email message so I could write to you when I had a chance. I just want you to know that I totally love the video you produced for Tanya and me. As you may remember, I was skeptical at first. I wasn’t too keen on the idea of being on camera all day. But Tanya talked me into it. …and then to get the day started, you asked me the deep philosophical question: “What does marriage mean to me”…I can’t imagine why I was so nervous that morning…

You did an awesome job of synchronizing the words and the music to the video, to capture both the fun and the special tender moments of the day; and it gives us something very unique to remember the events of the day that simply cannot be captured otherwise. Tanya and I are still waiting for the US Immigration paperwork so that we can actually live together…so when I get lonely and missin’ her I can just pop in the DVD to see her face and hear her voice, along with the music, and remember all the neat and wonderful things about our relationship and our love for each other.

Thank you for spending our special day with us, and for using your amazing talent to produce this unique treasure. I wish you all the very best with your family and your business.

Sincerely,
Niel R Nielson

——————————————————————————–

Dear Dave

We wanted to express our sincere appreciation and thanks for the excellent wedding video. We were truly amazed at the quality, creativtity, and obvious hours of effort that went into this production.

I have to confess that in the beginning we were unsure as to whether we wanted a wedding video at all. We decided to get one mostly because we could show it to friends and family overseas who were unable to attend our wedding. Steve and I are both thrifty, and getting a video was expensive to us. At the time I had a hard time justifying paying for it – after all we were having pictures done right?

I also must say that after watching the video for the first time, my initial preconceptions were entirely overcome. The video invoked a very emotional reaction – perhaps described as a warm and fuzzy feeling. It made us laugh, cry, and smile. I have since watched it at least five times. all of our friends and family loved it. I was showing it to some of my MBA classmates last week. These were people from Toronto who were not at the wedding, so I thought I would just show them the ten-minute overview. They didn’t want it turned off! They enjoyed it so much they wanted to see the entire 2.38 hours!

Our video is amazing, and it is certainly something that we will always treasure. Having a professional video is so much better than having a friend do it! Every time we watch the video, we see something new. It gives us a very clear reminder of everything that happened. We received our photos back before the video. I enjoyed them, but once I saw the video, I realized the downfall of the pictures – they don’t tell the story of the whole day. The video gives us so many more memories than our photos do.

Of all the vendors I worked with over the course of planning this wedding (and there were lots ) no one paid as much attention to detail as you did. The customer service was excellent. When we asked for things at the last minute, you always accommodated our requests. It is obvious that you enjoy what you do, enjoy making your customers happy, and are the type of person that makes sure your work is perfect. In the end, we were not only ecstatic we had a professional video done, we felt positive that we had the best videographer possible to make it all happen!

Thanks again Dave. I would be happy to provide a referral at any time, or answer questions from others who are wondering about getting a video done.
Sincerely,
Stacey and Steve Ruegg

Here is a fun wedding day photo shoot with Mike & Nina. This was all single video camera coverage by myself and the photographer was Gord Scade of Scade Photography who is always fun to work with. Scade Photography is based in Edmonton, Alberta and I highly recommended them for wedding and family portraits.

Earlier this week, I had the privilege to shoot a special media call for the world premiere of Extinction Song being held at Citadel Theatre in Edmonton. The play is written and directed by Ron Jenkins and stars Ron Pederson.
Ron is a talented actor and is best known for his work on Mad Tv and the Late, Late Show with Craig Ferguson. It was an honor to spend a little time with him and being able to witness his madness up close and personal.

Check it out.
